Railway Sleeper
55min | Français |
Allumage / La société du sensible |
Directed by Felix Besson
In 1860, a train engineer imagined a railroad linking Nice to Grenoble. Today, the tracks from Nice to Digne are the last remains of this dream, preserved only from oblivion by a handful of people. These last men standing are the bearers of an utopia, the essence of a myth : breaking through the Alps.
Felix Besson has been awarded a writing grant from SCAM to help him put the finishing touch on his project.
His documentary has also been selected for « Les Rencontres d’Août » as part of this summer’s Etats Généraux du film documentaire de Lussas.
