About Allumage
After graduating from Paris’s prestigious Louis Lumière film school, Alexandra Carr-Brown and Maximilien Colcy crossed the channel to enjoy south Manchester’s infamous weather and its wonderful people. For 5 years, they played every venue in the land, worked on all kinds of films sets, colonised many a mixing studio and generally had a blast.
Back in Paris, they met Julie, who was the fair but firm headmistress of a great production company called Maha. In 2014, they founded Allumage because it was the best way to work on projects they liked with people they liked.
Allumage is a young team of enthusiastic French people, which is not necessarily a bad thing. We're also very proud of our English background. Think of us as a glass of wine with marmite on toast. You have to try it to know how great it is.
